Using a hay preservative, you will be able to bale with a higher moisture content and get that hay off the ground, all while preserving more nutrients in the leaf. Our products help stop or control the growth of mold in the bale, which can cause the bale to heat up.
BULLETPROOF® is a forage preservative that enhances fermentation through the addition of sulfur-containing antioxidants, enzymes and sugar sources. This unique combination of ingredients allows for more rapid and efficient fermentation by lactic acid-producing bacteria, which are naturally present in silage, as well as less heating and faster curing in hay bales.
FRESH CUT® Plus Liquid is a hay preservative for hay baled at higher moisture levels. FRESH CUT Plus is an organic acid blend effective against a wide variety of mold strains and buffered to protect equipment from corrosion. The liquid formulation allows for more complete distribution and penetration into hay. FRESH CUT Plus is buffered to reduce metal corrosion while improving worker safety. The liquid formulation allows for more complete distribution, dispersion and penetration into hay.
