BONSILAGE® BASIC WS is a biological silage inoculant based on natural lactic acid bacteria. Under standard ensiling conditions, it is a cost effective way to improve the anaerobic stability, nutritional quality and palatability of silages in standard dry matter ranges.
BONSILAGE® PRO WS ensures a reliable fermentation process for whole plant corn and sorghum silages. The product rapidly lowers the pH level, and controlled acetic acid formation stabilizes the silage and reduces aerobic dry matter losses.
BONSILAGE® FORTE WS is developed specifically for all types of wet and hard-to-ensile silages in the lower dry matter ranges, which often show high ash content with a high buffering capacity. Quickly lowers the pH, effectively inhibits clostridia growth and decreases the risk of butyric acid fermentation. This process reduces the protein breakdown that typically occurs with wet silages.
BONSILAGE® CORN+ WS, ensures a reliable fermentation process for whole plant corn silage and sorghum silages. After a rapid pH drop, the high number of Lb. buchneri ensures the controlled formation of acetic acid, which provides a maximum level of protection against reheating. Improves the digestibility and energy density of the forage. It also releases significant amounts of propylene glycol, which has been shown to benefit cow health, especially in early lactation.
BONSILAGE® ALFA WS rapidly lowers the pH level and provides protection against reheating in alfalfa haylages. In addition, it effectively inhibits Clostridia, and it reduces the risk of butyric acid fermentation and protein degradation. It also releases propylene glycol, which has been shown to benefit cow health, especially in early lactation.
The special combination of homo- and heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains of BONSILAGE SPEED C ensures intensive fermentation in corn and sorghum silages during the first few weeks of ensiling. The entirely new heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria strain Lactobacillus diolivorans is exclusive to PROVITA SUPPLEMENTS.
